My Yearbook Experience

I’ve been taking yearbook for two years now and sadly this is my last year taking it. I can for sure say that it’s not an easy course to take but it definitely is rewarding and a lot of fun. Not knowing my strengths and weaknesses was really difficult when first taking yearbook. I was never the type to do any computer work or photography but this class taught me the basics and I’m glad it did. Being in Yearbook involves a lot of hard work, communication and dedication which helped me build confidence and learn the importance of being a strong positive leader. There are times where you get stressed out, things don’t go as planned or getting things done in such a small amount of time but that’s when you learn that you can do anything even when it doesn’t seem possible. Luckily for us our teacher is beyond supportive and is always willing to listen to our new ideas no matter how crazy or unreal they sound. When everyone is working together, sharing ideas and most importantly having fun while doing so is the best part about being in yearbook (besides the free food of course). I will definitely miss being in yearbook class surrounded by creative and hardworking people that make going to class worth the pressure and stress! If you’re curious about learning your strengths and weaknesses I would tell you to join yearbook :)
